No matter what, just be there

"You know what, just be there. No matter what. You'll never know what will happen to you, either positive or negative. So just be there!"

I was actually quite lazy to go to the temple last Friday for my Buddhist Introductory Course. My ass was "heavy" that I couldn't lift up from the chair. Going online sitting on the chair, surfing around the net, checking mails, checking out my friends' blogs, chatting with my friends. Man, you might be thinking, this guy has no life! Sitting in front of the computer doing this petty stuff that didn't benefit. Seriously, sometimes i do feel restless. Very very restless. Everything in my mind slows down and i don't have the mood to do just anything!

Then the thought above suddenly popped out in my head. You know, like, those lil devil me and lil angel me deciding for me what am i going to do. haha so

Angel me: Hey Kevin, what the hell are you doing. Sitting there and rotting yourself? Get you ass out of the chair and go out do some better stuff.
Devil me (muahaha): Oh, come on Kevin, chill and relax. Don't listen to that "donkey". He just wanted to disturb you from relaxing. Go on surfing the net. Nothing wrong with it.

Haha just making up stories anyway. So eventually i did follow what my Angel said, and went to the temple. I thought, oh well, i might be missing something if i didn't go there. And, yes, i did miss something if i really didn't go there. A friend.

Yup, a friend, that really "clicks". Chemistry you might say. Haha.

She's a lady in her early-20's, about 5'5 inches tall, looks studious to me (haha hopefully she won't happen to find my blog), a happy-go-lucky person, active in BBN (Buddhist Business Network), very keen in Buddhism, has trauma of jay-walking (crossing the road), dislike stock market, was (or maybe still is) workholic, a bright lady. Haha. We chatted that night till the sercurity guards of the temple "halau" us out for staying out so late, i think about 11.45pm, as they need to close the gate already (really there's nobody in the temple hall except two of us chit chatting there, haha).

Really glad to meet her, and i do look forward to meeting her again this Friday at the temple. :D
Went back home, with a big smile on my face. Haha. And yes, this will be my new added principle of life : No matter what, Just be there.
